Amazon Prime Pricing Changes

Amazon Prime Membership price changes since launch date in February 2005 to date. There are four main Amazon Prime membership plans: Amazon Prime, Prime Video, Prime Student, and Prime Shipping.

Amazon Prime Membership is available on a monthly or yearly basis, with yearly subscriptions offering a discount. Prime Video is a more affordable option but is limited to streaming video content.

Amazon Prime Student is designed for individuals aged 18 to 24 or anyone who can verify their student status. This comes at half the price of Amazon Prime.

Both Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime Shipping offer shipping benefits, but Amazon Prime includes additional entertainment features, making it a better choice if you want more than just shipping. Prime Shipping, by contrast, only provides shipping benefits, with no entertainment options.

It’s worth noting that Prime membership fees vary by country and are influenced by delivery speeds and benefits offered. For instance, the annual fee in Poland and India is roughly the same as the monthly fee in the U.S. and U.K.
