For larger contact lists, prices vary: - Standard Plan: $45 for 1,500 contacts, $135 for 10,000 contacts, $450 for 50,000 contacts. - Premium Plan: $620 for 25,000 contacts, $815 for 50,000 contacts, $1,025 for 100,000 contacts, $1,600 for 200,000 contacts.

In 2013, the free plan supported 2500 email sends per month which was reduced to 1000 in 2014.

In 2022, Mailchimp's free plan allowed up to 2000 contacts or subscribers which was reduced to 500 in 2023. There was also a slight increase in the subscription price of all plans after 2022.

In November 2021, Mailchimp was acquired by Intuit for $ 12 billion.  By the start of 2022, Mailchimp Essential and Standard plans prices had increased from $9 and $14 to $11 and $17 respectively.

In 2019, Mailchimp had Pro, Grow, and Free plans which became premium, standard, Essentials, and Free in 2020. Additionally, the number of emails you could send per month for 2k contacts dropped from 12,000 to 10,000 in 2020.

In 2013, Mailchimp had two subscription plans. Free for up to 2000 subscribers and Monthly plans based on the number of subscribers. It also had the pay-as-you-go plan which allowed buying sending credits that do not expire.
