Stan Sport Update on Subscription Price Increase on July 1st
Stan Sport has updated its pricing page to reflect an increase in the add-on subscription price, effective July 1, 2025. Below is a screenshot of the updated changes.
Starting July 1, 2025, the Stan Sport add-on price will increase by $5, from $15 to $20, 33% rise. The Stan Basic, Standard, and Premium plans remain unchanged.
To access Stan Sport, you must have an active Stan subscription. This means the minimum combined cost will start at $32 per month (Basic + Sport Add-on), which adds up to $384 per year. Stan has stated that they have no plans to introduce a standalone Sport package, which could have made the subscription more affordable for users only interested in sports.
Although Stan Sport has not provided a specific reason for the price increase, it recently acquired broadcasting rights to the English Premier League, which explains the price rise might.
