ESB Update on EV Charging Membership Price Increase on July 30th
ESB email update sent to customers on an upcoming membership price increase starting July 30, 2025. A screenshot of the update is available below.
The ESB Membership prices for the Standard Plan will rise from €0.47/kWh to €0.54/kWh. The Fast Plan will increase from €0.52/kWh to €0.59/kWh, and the High Power Plan will go from €0.54/kWh to €0.61/kWh.
Pay As You Go Standard Plan will increase from €0.52/kWh to €0.59/kWh. The Fast Plan will rise from €0.57/kWh to €0.64/kWh, while the High Power Plan will go from €0.59/kWh to €0.66/kWh.

Reason for Increase
ESB says that the price increases are due to sustained growth in operational costs and the need to support ongoing investment in the EV charging network and the rollout of high-power chargers.
