DreamHost Update on Shared Hosting Price Increase on September 18th
DreamHost email update sent to customers notifying them of an upcoming price increase for the shared hosting plans, effective September 18, 2025. Below is a screenshot of the update.
The Shared Unlimited plan price will increase from $13.99/month to $16.99/month, a 21% increase.
The Shared Starter plan price will increase from $7.99/month to $10.99/month, a 37% increase.
Here’s what DreamHost had to says about the price changes:
"We're reaching out to let you know that the price of your DreamHost Shared Unlimited hosting plan will be increasing to $16.99 per month on September 18, 2025.
…or you could be saving up to 35% by switching to one of our pre-paid plans. Check out the Manage Account page in your DreamHost Panel to review your options (just click the Manage button for your hosting plan; you can also use your Manage Account page to cancel if you no longer need hosting)."
