DeepSeek update on API Price Increase on September 5th
DeepSeek AI has updated its API pricing page to reflect the increased prices starting in September 5th, 2025. Below is a screenshot of the update.
Deepseek-chat cache-miss input tokens are increasing by $0.29, from $0.27 to $0.56 per 1M. The price of output tokens is also rising, from $1.10 to $1.68 per 1M, an increase of $0.58.
Deepseek-reasoner cache-hit input tokens are dropping from $0.14 to $0.07 per 1M. Cache-miss input tokens rise slightly, from $0.55 to $0.56 per 1M. Output tokens are decreasing from $2.19 to $1.68 per 1M, a reduction of $0.51.
