Wealthsimple Update on Visa Infinite Card Monthly Fee Increase on October 8th

Starting October 8, 2025, the annual fee for the Wealthsimple Visa Infinite credit card will increase from $120 to $240 annually. The new fee will be charged monthly at $20 (except in Quebec, where it remains billed annually at $240).

If you don't meet the waiver conditions ( which is depositing at least $4,000 per month or maintaining over $100,000 in assets with Wealthsimple), you will have to pay the higher fee. However, Wealthsimple says it will honour the original $10 monthly fee ($120 annually) through October 8, 2026, for cardholders who no longer qualify for the waiver.
