Ring Update on Subscription Price Increase in 2026 for Users on Legacy Pricing
Ring has sent an email update to users on legacy subscription pricing, notifying them of a price increase in 2026. Below is a screenshot of the email.
If you are a user on the old plans with lower, grandfathered pricing, Ring has increased your subscription cost to align with current pricing.
The Plus plan, which previously cost $100 per year, is now the Standard plan and costs $99.99 per year. However, adding the Alarm Professional Monitoring add-on ($100 per year) increases the total cost to $199.99 per year. You can view Ring’s pricing history on this page.
These prices were increased years ago when Ring updated its pricing plans from Basic, Plus, and Pro to Basic, Standard, and Premium. At that time, Ring chose not to increase prices for users on legacy plans. Now, prices for legacy users have been increased. Users who subscribed to the newer pricing plans within the past four years are not affected by this price changes.
The screenshot above show what Ring had to say about the price changes.
We have started tracking Ring subscription price changes and will update them on Ring Pricing History Page.
