Ubisoft Update on Subscription Price Increase in Canada on March 1st
Ubisoft email update sent to subscribers notifying them of a premium plan subscription price increase starting in March 2026. Below is a screenshot of the update.
Ubisoft+ Premium Plan pricing will increase from CAD $199.99/year to CAD $229.99/year, and from CAD $19.99/month to CAD $22.99/month, starting March 2026. The price of Classic plans remains the same.
The Ubisoft Premium plan in the U.S. costs $179.99/year. Therefore, if you convert CAD $229.99 to USD using current exchange rates, it equals $167.56, which means that even with the increase, Canadian users are still paying less than U.S. users.
Here is what Ubisoft had to say about the price increase:
"Thank you for being a valued Ubisoft+ Premium subscriber.
Starting on your billing date in March, your subscription price will change from 199.99 CAD to 229.99 CAD (+ applicable tax)."
