ClassPass update on Subscription Price Increase in the Philippines on July 1st
ClassPass email update on subscription price increase effective July 1, 2025, in the Philippines. The email about the price changes is attached below.
ClassPass subscription prices in the Philippines are increasing by approximately 12% of the current rate starting July 1, 2025, due to the introduction of value-added tax (VAT). If you want to estimate your new payment, simply add 12% to your current subscription fee or check the updated prices on the ClassPass pricing page for Philippines.
For example, a 28-credit plan that currently costs PHP 2,490 per month will increase by 12%, which is PHP 298.80 (rounded to PHP 300). This brings the new total to PHP 2,790, as shown in the email screenshot above.
The email sent to ClassPass members about pricing changes reads as follows;
We’re reaching out to let you know that in accordance with the Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations, beginning on your next billing cycle after July 1, 2025, a 12% Value-Added tax (VAT) will automatically be added to your ClassPass purchases, including your monthly subscription fee which will be adjusted from PHP 2490/month for 28 credits to PHP 2790/month for 28 credits, inclusive of VAT.
The tax amount will be calculated per applicable rules and included in the total purchase cost. No action is needed from you.
We will continue monitoring ClassPass price changes in other countries and update on the ClassPass Pricing History page.
