Vitro Glass Update on Price Increase on June 16th
Vitro Architectural Glass has sent customers a notice informing them of a product price increase starting June 16, 2025. The notice is attached below.
Vitro is increasing flat glass products for shipments beginning on June 16, 2025. The notice reads as follows;
The global inflationary challenges that we are experiencing continue to create extraordinary pressures on our economy and in turn our business. Vitro Architectural Glass remains committed to being your preferred supplier of high-quality float and value-added glass products. To support this purpose, we continue to make long-term investments in our North American float operations and value-added technologies, while seeking to manage and reduce cost through a systematic focus on asset utilization, continuous productivity improvement and aggressive cost reduction initiatives.
Despite these on-going efforts, increasing raw materials, logistics, electricity and labor costs necessitate price increases on the following flat glass products, effective with shipments beginning on June 16, 2025.

Note that energy and transportation surcharges remain independent of pricing and will continue to be subject to Vitro’s surcharge letter published monthly.
