Google Workspace Update on Subscription Price Increase on July 7th
Google Workspace has sent an email to subscribers notifying them of a subscription price increase effective July 7, 2025. Below is a screenshot of the email and information regarding the price increase:
Google Workspace had earlier this year announced a subscription price increase effective March 2025. This new update affects customers who are still on legacy pricing or whose prices did not increase to the amounts shown below.
The Business Starter plan will increase from $6 per month to $7 per month. The Business Standard plan will rise from $12 per month to $14 per month. The Business Plus plan will see its monthly cost go up from $18 to $22. These charges are per month but billed annually. The table below show the percentage increase;

For customers on flexible (month-to-month) billing, the current prices are higher: Business Starter is $8.40, Business Standard is $16.80, and Business Plus is $26.40 per month.
Google says that the increase is due to added features, such as the Gemini AI assistant:
