Aston Villa FC Update on Membership Price Increase on July 1st

Aston Villa says that the Claret Membership will increase by £10 - from £40 to £50 - a 25% rise beginning July 1, 2025. The Claret Membership will also be renamed to the Adult Membership. If your membership renews before July 1st, you will be fortunate to renew at the old price.

Aston Villa states the price increase is due to enhanced benefits, such as access to Villa TV content (including all 2025/26 pre-season matches), exclusive club events, and more.

Here is what Aston Villa had to say about the price increase:

Your membership renewal price will be £50, an increase of £10 to reflect the enhanced benefits package. You will be required to confirm your card details prior to renewing your membership, at which point you will be given the following options: renew your current membership, renew in a different membership category, or cancel your membership. You will receive a renewal email prior to the end of your membership term with instructions on how to do this.”

What This Means for You:
From 01/07/25, your membership will be renamed from ‘Claret Membership’ to ‘Adult Membership’.

From 01/07/25, you will receive an enhanced benefits package. Your ‘Adult Membership’ will include the following additional benefits:

• Full access to Villa TV content, including all 2025/26 pre-season matches (subject to region/territory)
• 100 points towards your position on the Season Ticket Waiting List (if applicable)
• Four £5 match ticket discounts for Aston Villa Women’s Team WSL matches
• Full access to exclusive club events
