Indeed Update on Enforcement of Minimum Budget Requirement on July 1st
Indeed has posted an update on the enforcement of its minimum budget requirement for Sponsored Job campaigns, which will take effect on July 1, 2025. A screenshot of the update is attached below.

Starting July 1, 2025, Indeed will begin enforcing a minimum budget per Sponsored Job campaign based on the total number of jobs included in the campaign throughout its duration, not just those active at any given time.
Previously, employers could rotate an unlimited number of jobs through a single campaign, as long as the active jobs at any one time met the required minimum spend - often $25 per job. For example, with a $250 campaign budget, an employer could cycle through 15 or more jobs over time, provided only 5 were live at any given moment.
Under the enforcement policy, the minimum budget per job will be calculated using the total number of jobs included in the campaign, regardless of how many are active concurrently. For instance, with a $250 budget and a $25 minimum spend per job, an employer will now be able to sponsor a maximum of 10 jobs over the life of the campaign. Any jobs added beyond this number will not be sponsored unless the campaign budget is increased accordingly.
Below is a breakdown of the pricing changes in numbers;
Lets say;
- The minimum budget per job is $25 USD
You have a campaign with a budget of $250 USD
Under the Old Rules (before July 1, 2025):
If you only have 5 jobs active at a time, your spend is calculated like this:
$250 ÷ 5 = $50 per job (meets the minimum)
You could later rotate in 10 more jobs over the course of the campaign. As long as only a few were live at a time, it didn’t matter how many jobs you eventually rotated through
Under the New Rules (starting July 1, 2025):
Suppose you plan to include 15 jobs total throughout the campaign.
New calculation: $250 ÷ 15 = $16.67 per job (this is below the $25 minimum). So, some jobs will not be sponsored, unless you increase your budget to at least 15 × $25 = $375, OR reduce the number of jobs in the campaign to 10 or fewer
