Philo Update on Subscription Price Increase on October 17th
Philo email update sent to subscribers notifying them of a subscription price increase starting October 17th, 2025. Below is a screenshot of the update.
In 2018, the subscription was priced at $16 per month for 37 channels and $20 per month for 46 channels. In 2021, the price was $20 per month. By 2024, it increased to $25 per month, and in 2025, it rose to $28.
Legacy users who have been paying as little as $16 per month will now see an increase of about 75%.
If you subscribed in 2025, you will not be affected by the price change for now, as this primarily impacts older subscribers.
Philo says it is increasing prices for legacy subscribers because it has been losing money for some time on users with older plans.
